1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you register, request information, participate in activities on the Services, or contact us.

All personal information you provide must be true, complete, and accurate. Please notify us of any changes.

In short: We may collect limited device and usage information when you visit our Services for security, operation, and analytics.

This can include IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location inferred from IP, pages viewed, and time stamps. We use cookies or similar technologies as described below.

In short: We process information to provide and improve the Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law.

Data deletion on link removal. When you delete a link within HostDoq, we do not retain the associated files in our active systems, subject to reasonable backup and security practices as described in Retention below.

In short: We process your personal information only when we have a valid legal reason, such as consent, contract performance, legal obligations, legitimate interests, or vital interests. If you are in the EEA, UK, or Canada, these legal bases apply as set out by local law. You may withdraw consent at any time using the contact methods below.

In short: We share information with service providers that help us deliver the Services.

In short: We keep information as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this notice unless a longer period is required by law.

When there is no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will delete or anonymize it. If deletion is not possible immediately, for example due to backups, we will securely store your information and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.

When you delete a link, we do not retain the associated files in active storage. Residual copies may remain in backups for a limited time and are purged on scheduled cycles.

8. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

In short: We use organizational and technical safeguards designed to protect your personal information. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Transmission of personal information is at your own risk. Access the Services in a secure environment whenever possible.

9. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

In short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will deactivate the account and delete the data. In short: Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, and to data portability.

Withdrawing consent. If we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time using the contact methods below. This does not affect processing before withdrawal or processing based on other legal grounds.

Marketing communications. You can unsubscribe at any time by using the link in our emails or by contacting us.

Account information. To review, change, or terminate your account, log in to your account settings or contact us. Upon request to terminate, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from active databases. We may retain limited information as required for legal compliance, security, and backups.

11. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track feature. No uniform standard has been finalized. We do not currently respond to DNT signals. If a standard is adopted in the future, we will follow it and update this notice.

We do not sell or share personal information as defined by California law. We disclose to service providers as needed to operate the Services, including Paddle for payments. California residents may request access, deletion, correction, and information about disclosures. We will not discriminate for exercising these rights.

13. DO VIRGINIA RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?

In short: Virginia residents have rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, including access, correction, deletion, portability, and the right to appeal. We do not sell personal data. To exercise rights or appeal a decision, use the contact methods below.
